Privacy Policy

The builder uses the text you enter to update the on-screen preview and create files on your device. CV fields are not uploaded, read or stored by this site. Downloaded files remain under your control.

Use a trusted device and clear browser data when working on a shared computer. Do not send identity documents or sensitive CV attachments through the contact address.

This site does not load third-party analytics or advertising scripts, and the builder has no server endpoint that receives the content you type. If a privacy-focused analytics service is added later, it will record page views and interactions only — never the content typed into the builder — and this notice will be updated to name it.

Paid downloads use Stripe’s hosted checkout. Stripe handles card details and billing information under its own privacy policy. This browser-based site does not receive card details, billing information, payment confirmations or checkout email addresses. If you contact us for purchase support, the message, reply address and receipt you provide may be retained only as needed to answer the enquiry and meet record-keeping duties.

You may request access to the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete information, or request deletion of your personal information where applicable.

CVTemplate does not currently require a user account for the browser-based CV builder, so there may be no account to close. You may still request deletion of personal information associated with a purchase or support enquiry.

To make a privacy request, email hello@getcvtemplate.com and include the email address associated with your purchase or enquiry. We may ask for reasonable information to verify your identity before acting on the request.

We aim to respond to valid privacy requests within 30 days. Some information may be retained where required for legal, tax, fraud-prevention, payment, dispute-resolution or record-keeping purposes.
